Gather round, gather round, your new favourite blogger is making his grand entrance.

Hello all, and welcome to Tom Gets Around. This is a travel blog I’ve started in order to gain momentum for my writing career, perhaps make a little money on the side, and… well, let’s see where it goes.

I will keep this post very brief, but I’m a travel-enthusiast from the UK, living in Australia, and documenting my holidays and trips abroad in the past years. I don’t know for sure whether I’ll expand my blog to cover more than just travel in the future, but for now I’m simply sharing what I got up to, where, and what I thought of it.

I don’t necessarily have a unique selling point or target audience. I’m just using it as an excuse to write and build my brand. That said, on each of these travel experiences I’ve been single, and a foodie. Thus, I’ll be sharing my dating experiences, alongside food and drink recommendations.

I’ll wrap this up here; my next post will be a travel blog about Lisbon, which I visited in May, 2024.
